Ep 1451 | A Professional Magician Pushes Back Against Christians Who Call His Work Demonic

Professional magician Stephen Bargatze joins Jase, Al and Zach to recount his painful childhood, including abuse, a traumatic dog attack and the struggles that nearly cost him his life. Stephen opens up about discovering Jesus, finding his purpose through comedy and magic, and learning to extend mercy to his mother after decades of estrangement. Jase and Stephen find common ground in using entertainment to introduce people to the Gospel, while the guys tackle the biblical controversy surrounding magic and illusion. Stephen also performs a few unforgettable tricks and reflects on how God transformed his family's darkest moments into a legacy of faith, laughter and forgiveness.
